Tezos Staking Guide: Trust Wallet Is More Than A Vault

Trust Wallet is one of those applications that allows a user to securely hold and buy cryptocurrencies while having staking functionality in one place. In this guide, we’ll describe in a detailed way how to stake Tezos via Trust Wallet.

Step 1: Wallet Installation And Set Up

We’d like to emphasize that the Trust Wallet is currently available only on iOS and Android platforms. Download and install the wallet on a desired operating system.

Once the application is installed, proceed to the seed phrase generation.

Then you have to confirm your seed phrase and back it up in a safe place.

Step 2: Actual Staking Process

After the successful wallet set up we have to add Tezos cryptocurrency into the main menu simply by entering the name into the search bar.

From the search menu add Tezos by dragging the slider.

Select Tezos from the main menu, tap on the ‘More’ button and then choose to stake XTZ.

Choose ‘Everstake’ from the Validators menu by tapping on the arrow.

Check all details and confirm your operation by tapping on the ‘Send’ Button

Please allow up to 30 minutes for the network to confirm your stake. You can also search for your stake details on the Tezos.id explorer by entering your wallet address into the search bar.
