What is Institutional Staking-as-a-Service (StaaS)?

Institutional Staking-as-a-Service is a non-custodial infrastructure solution that allows organizations to participate in Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus and earn protocol-native rewards while offloading the technical burden of validator management.

Zero Infrastructure Management

Institutions avoid the overhead of hardware procurement, data center maintenance, and the complexities of 24/7 server uptime. No Validator Operations

Crucially, the model is non-custodial. The institution retains sole possession of its private keys; the provider only manages the operator keys required for signing blocks. They typically generate validator and withdrawal keys themselves, sharing only limited signing keys with the provider for transaction validation. This approach minimizes counterparty risk and accommodates institutional requirements for self-custody. 

Native PoS Rewards

Rewards are driven by network participation rather than credit-based lending or leverage. Institutions capture staking rewards generated through the PoS mechanism, typically realized as a percentage of the principal paid in native tokens for network security. While providers retain a nominal performance fee, net annual rewards can range higher or lower depending on the specific blockchain protocol.
