Join Camp Mamo: A Celestia Bootcamp for Ukrainian Developers

Everstake has long supported the Ukrainian developer community, and this summer, we’re helping them level up. We invite devs to join Camp Mamo, a four-week online boot camp organized by Celestia, the first modular data availability network.

Running from August 4 to August 29, the program offers everything developers need to start building in Celestia’s modular ecosystem—from core concepts to hands-on challenges.

What Is Camp Mamo?

Camp Mamo is far more than just another educational bootcamp. It is a strategic initiative to prepare developers for the upcoming Mammothon 2 hackathon, which is expected to launch in mid-September. The first Mammothon was held in February and saw 11 winning teams, including two from Ukraine.

By participating in Camp Mamo, developers will gain:

• In-depth understanding of Celestia’s modular stack
• Hands-on experience through weekly builder challenges
• Early exposure to Celestia’s ecosystem and tools
• Networking opportunities with fellow developers and potential teammates for the hackathon

This bootcamp is focused on helping both newcomers and experienced developers who want to:

What to Expect

The bootcamp is divided into two parts.

Week 1: The Basics

• Daily videos from Celestia core contributors and ecosystem teams
• Topics include data availability, mammoth blocks, cross-chain interoperability, and more

Weeks 2–4: The Builds

• Two weekly modules with:
  • Tech stack explainers
  • Demo walkthroughs
  • Hands-on builder challenges
