Cap-3 Overview

Duration
Cap-3 will last for exactly 1,000 BTC blocks, which takes about one week. All valid transactions will be accepted within this window.
Transaction Limits
- Minimum Amount per Transaction: 0.005 BTC
- Maximum Amount per Transaction: 5,000 BTC (a 10x increase compared to Cap-2)
Unbonding Transaction Fee
The unbonding transaction fee is the same as in Cap-2 and comprises 0.00032 BTC.
Points Allocation
The first 300 BTC blocks will have 100,000 points per block, and the remaining 700 BTC blocks will have 21,000 points each. All active stakes from all caps within every particular block will be eligible for points.Note that points are not available in all jurisdictions for legal reasons. How to stake BTC
Before you begin, ensure you have one of the following supported BTC wallets:
- OKX
- Tomo
- Bitget
- OneKey
- Keystone
Please note:
- Avoid Hardware Wallets: Do not use hardware wallets like Ledger, except for Keystone via QR code.
- No Bitcoin Inscriptions: Do not use a wallet that holds any Bitcoin Inscriptions.
- Address Format: Choose either Native SegWit or Taproot format.

- Navigate to the BTC Staking Dashboard.
- Click on Stake Now.

- Approve the wallet connection to the staking dashboard.
Step 3: Initiate Staking
- Click Stake.
- Enter the amount of BTC you wish to stake.
- Review and agree to the staking terms.
- Approve the BTC staking transaction.

Step 1: Visit the Babylon BTC Staking Dashboard
- Go to the Babylon BTC Staking Dashboard.
Step 2: Connect Your Wallet
- Confirm that you have read the notes.
- Choose your preferred wallet and connect.
Step 3: Select Everstake as Your Validator
- Scroll through the list and choose Everstake (we offer a low fee of 3%).

- Download the Wallet
- Create a Wallet
- Open the app to start staking BTC.
