Injective is a blockchain specifically designed for building next-generation financial applications. Thanks to its out-of-the-box modules, such as a completely decentralized MEV-resistant order book, developers can utilize Injective to create a wide range of dApps. Additionally, Injective provides CosmWasm smart contract environment with an implementation that enables automatic smart contract execution.
Thanks to the Cosmos SDK and the Tendermint-based PoS consensus mechanism, Injective can achieve instant transaction finality with 10,000 TPS throughput and a block time of about 1 second.INJ holders can profit from staking their tokens with Injective validators and receive staking rewards for contributing to the security and decentralization of the blockchain.
This guide will explain how to stake INJ using the Leap Wallet.
We will cover the following:
About the Leap Wallet
Leap wallet is a non-custodial wallet for the Cosmos ecosystem, allowing users to manage assets across 40+ Cosmos chains. Available on mobile (iOS and Android), as a browser extension, and as a web dashboard.
Leap provides the following features:
Why Stake INJ?
Utilizing the Tendermint proof-of-stake consensus framework, Injective allows individuals to delegate the native token, INJ, to Injective validators to earn staking rewards.
While validators participate in the consensus process and validate transactions, any INJ holder can contribute by simply delegating assets to a validator.
How to Stake INJ Using the Leap Extension
Install the Extension
Download the extension on your preferred web browser.
Add the extension.
Choose how you’d like to set up your wallet:
