Zilliqa is a blockchain designed to create smart contracts and decentralized apps. It improves chain scaling using network sharding which is a distinctive feature of Zilliqa. Sharding divides the network into several mini-blockchains called “shards”. Due to shards, all data coming into Zilliqa’s blockchain can be processed in smaller sections and shared asynchronously among the shards.
This guide will show you how to connect your ZilPay Wallet and stake ZIL via the Zillet Platform.
What is Zilliqa?
Zilliqa’s network capacity is several hundred thousand TPS, and its architecture relies on task parallelization to distribute work and computation within a peer-to-peer network, allowing delegates to stake coins safely and earn rewards. Though it is not only limited to staking – high TPS increases blockchain utility for DeFi and creating dApps.
