About Chainlink and Everstake

Chainlink node operators are the backbone of the Chainlink Network. Chainlink node operators participate within decentralized oracle networks, allowing engineers to fetch external data in a secure and reliable manner. They operate the crucial oracle infrastructure that is responsible for ensuring smart contracts across every blockchain have access to the real-world data they need to execute properly.

Everstake is thrilled to work with the Chainlink team and support the entire ecosystem. Our team of experienced developers, DevOps engineers, and cybersecurity experts ensures the highest quality of our services. Thus, Everstake contributes to developing the Chainlink ecosystem and, together with the team, creates a secure environment for financial transactions on the blockchain.

Everstake will continue to support and help Chainlink’s infrastructure to improve.

faq

What is Chainlink?

+

Chainlink is a network that allows blockchains to securely interact with real-world data, events and payments, providing off-chain data required by intricate smart contracts. Further, it was one of the first networks to allow for the integration of smart contacts and off-chain data. In order to prevent a single point of failure, Chainlink is operated by a decentralized oracle network.

What are node operators?

+

Chainlink node operators are the entities running the oracle hardware and software infrastructure. These oracle node operators interact with smart contracts and transmit data from external sources to them. Since some smart contracts, in particular for DeFi, manage a lot of value, the external data they rely on must be accurate and reliable. Node operators need to bring industry best practices to managing their infrastructure.
